Acquisition of no. 2 market player in Germany supports ongoing growth
With this transaction, Xempus continues to deliver on its buy-and-build European scale-up strategy:
- eVorsorge complements the market leading policy sale and management offering of Xempus with CRM-solutions for insurance brokers focused on serving larger corporates;
- eVorsorge enjoys a strong number 2 market position in Germany, catering in particular to large brokers and sales organizations;
- eVorsorge is already active in Austria and offers a launchpad to roll out the combined platform in additional European countries;
- eVorsorge’s highly configurable software architecture facilitates the addition of other new product verticals to the combined Xempus platform.
“The combined market potential is huge with total insurance premia exceeding €1.000 billion each year,” says Malte Dummel, Xempus COO & CFO. “Xempus and eVorsorge are ideally placed to jointly tackle the market for the digital distribution of insurance policies to corporates across Europe.”
“eVorsorge and Xempus offer highly complementary solutions”, adds Stefan Huber, founder and managing director of eVorsorge. “Together we can service all types of insurance agents and corporates.” Stefan joins the Xempus senior management team and its supervisory board.
