The InsurTech firm Xempus is expanding its cooperation in the area of pension and life insurance (bAV) with the insurer Canada Life. Based on the Xempus platform, the life assurance firm now offers online access for employers and their brokers in the form of the “Canada Life bAVnet” portal.
If desired, digital invitations can be sent out to all employees without an existing company pension scheme, with the aim of encouraging them to take out bAV plans. Partner and contract data can be viewed directly via Canada Life bAVnet, while business transactions can additionally be managed, either by yourself or in cooperation with brokers, in a fully digital manner. Employees can use the myXempus portal to view existing pension schemes and apply for new bAV policies, a process in which brokers are also involved.
“With Canada Life bAVnet, we have created the ideal vehicle to make our products digital and even easier”, comments Dr Igor Radović, Director of Product and Sales Management at Canada Life Europe. “A survey we conducted in cooperation with Civey showed that almost half of all respondents, namely 47 percent, prefer to manage their company pension scheme digitally. The younger the respondents, the higher this percentage. Simple, efficient digital management of pension products is becoming increasingly important. Together with Xempus, we are optimally positioned for the digital future”, Radović concludes.

Canada Life, we have already implemented employer and employee bAV consulting for brokers via the Xempus platform.
