Xempus launches digital bAV self-closing route for employers

With “Xempus manager”, intermediaries without a focus on occupational pensions can now make digital occupational pensions available to their corporate customers for the first time.

Munich, October 20, 2021 – The Munich-based InsurTech now offers the fully digital self-closing route for employers. With “Xempus manager”, intermediaries without a focus on occupational pensions can now make digital occupational pensions available to their corporate customers for the first time. For companies and their employees, company pension schemes (bAV) are becoming simple all round.

Intermediaries invite their corporate customers via link. On the Xempus platform, the company itself selects a bAV offer from the options “Savings Package”, “Top Provision” and “Individual Package” and introduces bAV digitally and easily. If you would like personal advice during the course of the transaction, you can obtain it at any time through Fonds Finanz. Technical questions are answered by the Xempus service.

For employers, the new access has three major advantages. They comply with legal obligations, score points with their employees with occupational pension schemes and introduce them digitally and easily. The target group is SMEs, where occupational pension penetration is still low.

New platform functionality

Xempus is being launched with Pension Benefits AG, a subsidiary of Fonds Finanz: intermediaries provide their corporate clients with the “Xempus manager” as a tipster via a link. The first tariff partner is HDI. Other distributors and product providers will follow.

Intermediaries without knowledge of occupational pension schemes expand their business as a result

  • act as a tipster
  • Enable their corporate customers to access the bAV
  • Protect their customer relationship from competition

Companies receive fully digital bAV for the first time

  • Easy access to the occupational pension system
  • including employee portal “myXempus”, with which each employee can conveniently view and select his or her offer online
  • compliant with data protection and the law

“The backlog demand for occupational pension plans is particularly high among small and medium-sized companies. We are following a market trend,” explains Xempus CEO Tobias Wann. “Employers now have the choice of implementing analog or all-digital bAV. With “Xempus manager” we are digitally addressing a target group that has not been reached before. We are and will remain a technology provider. We make preventive care easy.”

Intermediaries with a focus on occupational pension plans continue to use the “Xempus advisor” to provide individual, IT-supported advice to employers and employees right up to the conclusion of the contract.
