Munich, 28 March 2022 – The Munich-based Insurtech Xempus is preparing for its next phase of growth by securing the services of Ralf Marschke (47), an expert in the area of strategic growth and partner relations. Following the most recent financing round that generated proceeds of $70 million, Xempus will above all be seeking to drive the expansion of the product and service portfolio in addition to expanding its own portfolio in various European markets.
In the newly created position of Senior VP Customer & Growth, Ralf Marschke has assumed responsibility for shaping strategy in this area since March 2022. The aim is to expand the product range and customer management across the entire value chain. In addition, he is responsible for developing relationships with insurers, brokers, exclusive organizations and sales partners – at both national and international level.
Marschke boasts more than 12 years of experience in the areas of e-commerce and insurance sales with a distinct focus on the B2B2C business. Prior to joining Xempus, he was responsible for partner cooperations with retail companies, energy providers and broker pools, among other organisations, in his role as Head of Partner Sales at Ergo Direkt. Before that, Marschke worked for PayPal, initially as Head of Merchant Marketing, later as Director of Merchant Business Development and a member of the management team, playing a key role in building up the German business of the payment service provider.
